All clients participating in care at AW must be informed of the following important information and general terms and conditions:
- The consultations, treatments and coaching programs offered by AW are complementary and do not replace regular medical treatment; treatments are always offered in support of or in combination with treatments from regular medicine, or as maintenance of health through guidance to prevent illness.
- A consultation with AW is not intended to obtain a medical diagnosis. Consult a doctor for information about your health.
- If you follow a treatment plan at AW and you are under treatment by a doctor, you must always inform the doctor. AW always takes into account any medical treatment, provided that you share this information with AW. If necessary, you will be referred back to your treating doctor to discuss your current regular treatment and compatibility with AW’s services.
- AW does not diagnose conditions and does not prescribe medication. If you provide your medical report, your current treatment will be taken into account when drawing up a treatment plan.
- The consultations, treatments and coaching programs at AW are performed by a qualified therapist, affiliated with the PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION AND PLATFORM FOR INTEGRATIVE HEALTH CARE (VBAG). AW is registered as an RBCZ therapist and the practice complies with the Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act (Wkkgz).
- In case of fever, flu or cold, certain treatments and massages cannot be performed. In case of high blood pressure, illness or acute injury, it is important that you contact AW to evaluate whether the treatment can take place.
- Information is only obtained from or shared with third parties with the client’s permission. Unless applicable laws and regulations stipulate otherwise). AW handles the client’s data confidentially and carefully. These are only used for guidance/treatment, file formation, reporting, communication, invoicing and administration.
- Appointments made can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. Appointments that are cancelled less than 24 hours in advance or that are not kept can be charged.
- The first appointment (intake) is intended for anamnesis and or Ayurvedic research. The duration and costs of an Ayurvedic intake or Neuroplasticity session can be found on our website under rates.
- Payments can be made after receipt of the invoice via bank transfer or paid by credit card. For neuroplasticity sessions, payment in advance is requested.
- The rates for treatments and other services such as workshops, courses or training can be found on the website.
- Rates can be adjusted in between. The client will receive timely notification of this.
- AW handles the client’s data confidentially and carefully. These are only used for guidance/treatment, file formation, reporting, communication, invoicing and administration.
